Last night I was asked by Buddy and Jackson Oakes to guest on the PredsOnTheGlass Blog Talk Radio show. The show had a little bit of everything, but finally settled into some hockey talk towards the last 30 minutes or so. If you enjoy podcasts, want to be exposed to something new or want to hear me ramble for an hour—this is your chance! Buddy has a good summary of what we talked about over at Preds on the Glass as well. As I’ve stated before: I have a voice and personality made for blogging. Listener Beware.
This also gives me the opportunity to let everyone know of a couple of other things that we’ve been involved with (or noticed) around the net lately. I did a 3-part guest piece for Jaime Favreau at Over the Boards. The focus of the piece was examining the NHL and some of the things that they’ve done right in the Social Media world. I’m quick to bash the NHL for some of the stupid things that they do—this was an opportunity to give them a little love for something they’re doing well. She broke up the article into 3 easily digestible pieces (Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3). Probably a smart move.
Lastly, John Fischer over at the Devils blog In Lou We Trust dissected the Atlantic Division Roundtable Preview that we hosted just before training camp started. There’s some great insight into some of Carlos Figueiredo’s (of SpeakingOfTheDevils.com) answers and what some fans thought of the Atlantic Division before the season started. Since every team is about 12-15 games it, it’s a good time to look back and see how some of those predictions are shaking out. Regardless, John did a very good job of breaking down our breakdown!
In the coming weeks, I’ll be around a few other websites doing my best to pollute the hockey corner of the internet the best I can.
